From May 13 to 15, the Food 4 Future Expo 2025 turned Bilbao into a meeting point for experts and relevant actors in food-tech and sustainability. The event brought together thousands of professionals to explore how innovation can shape the future of the food industry.
During these 3 days of event, attendees had the opportunity to engage in a variety of sessions addressing the challenges and opportunities within the agri-food sector. The CHORIZO project participated in a dedicated session on May 13 titled “ZERO WASTE: Obligations and Opportunities in the Food Chain”, organised by the BREADCRUMB project. The session, moderated by FIAB, brought together various EU-funded projects, including ZeroWaste, WASTELESS and Rosetta, to discuss European approaches to reducing food loss.
CNTA presented CHORIZO, highlighting how the project is addressing behavioural change through open and responsible innovation.
The Spanish Food and Drink Federation (FIAB) was key partner in the event, and they actively participated and used the opportunity to promote the CHORIZO project throughout the expo by sharing project materials and updates at their booth.
Big thanks to all people who attended the sessions and showed interest in the CHORIZO project during Food 4 Future Expo 2025. Sharing the stage with other initiatives highlights the importance of collective action in reducing food loss and waste.
