The INGENIA Startup Awards, organized by the FIAB and the Food for Life-Spain platform, with the participation of relevant representatives from the industry, technological centers and policy makers such as the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food (MAPA), gathered nine pioneering startups for an inspiring Open Day filled with elevator-pitch presentations across key categories such as Sustainability, Packaging, or Food Waste.

Out of 31 applications, nine finalists were selected by a Technical Committee comprised of sector professionals, government officials, and representatives from Food for Life-Spain’s Governing Council.

These startups delivered brief but compelling pitches to a distinguished panel of judges, including representatives from the funding sector, government agencies, big companies and SMEs, and technology research centers. The initiative continues FIAB’s mission of boosting innovation in the agri-food ecosystem.
