On 29th of September we celebrated the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste (IDAFLW). During this fifth observance of the IDAFLW, CHORIZO project took the great opportunity to raise awareness to the importance of the Food Lost and Waste problem and its solutions at all levels.
CHORIZO partners have been working on real-life Case Studies to provide information and data on the context and impact of current and previous FLW prevention/reduction actions and have elaborated a guidance to help different sectors such as primary production, processing and manufacturing industry, retail and distribution, and food services industry. The additional contexts included are interventions that take place at the municipal level and at the households. Check our guide HERE.
